What is Tandem Lane?

Tandem Lane is a gift box subscription service for our elderly loved ones. It’s a nice, simple way to surprise and delight, and stay connected on a regular basis.

Each box will include personal photos and letters to keep your loved one up-to-date with what’s going on in your life. It will also contain a selection of edible treats, comfort and indulgence items, games and activities, and other gifts related to that month’s theme.  

The exact contents of each box will keep changing – part of the fun is being surprised and delighted by something new every month! Take a look at past Tandem Lane gift boxes here.

How are gift items selected?

Items are carefully chosen based on our knowledge of what seniors love best. By regularly connecting with geriatric experts, caregivers, and most importantly, seniors themselves, we ensure that each month’s gift box will surprise and delight!

Does Tandem Lane deliver in my city? 

Tandem Lane delivers to all parts of the continental United States. 

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free! After you pay for the monthly subscription, Tandem Lane takes care of the rest.

When do I have to sign up by to receive next month’s box?

You must order by the last day of the month to get next month’s box. But why wait? Order now so you don’t forget!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major US credit and debit cards. 

What happens after I subscribe?

Once you place your order, we will send your loved one a welcome card to introduce them to Tandem Lane. The first box will be shipped on the 15th of the following month. 

How do I submit photos and notes for inclusion in my loved one's gift boxes?

Every month, we will email you to ask for photos and a note for the next gift box. We will include any instructions or specifications for these in the email. 

Do I have to submit photos and/or a note in each gift box?

No, these personal touches are always optional. However, these are some of the items that your loved one will cherish the most!

Will I be notified of what is being sent to my loved one?

Yes, as boxes ship every month, you will be notified of their theme and contents.

Is Tandem Lane right for my loved one?

Tandem Lane is a great gift for many seniors!

However, due to the nature of some of the contents, please select the appropriate options at checkout (e.g. diabetic friendly, etc.) and ensure that your loved one is able to evaluate whether each item is appropriate for their personal use or consumption. 

At this time we do not offer gifts that cater to particular allergies or diets other than “diabetic friendly”. Check back soon, though!

How did you come up with the name Tandem Lane?

If you have ever ridden a tandem bicycle, you know that it works regardless of whether one or two people are pedaling. Nonetheless, the ride is much easier and more fun when there are two people pedaling together

Tandem Lane was created to remind our older family members that whether we see or talk with them once a day or once a month, they are always in our thoughts and they are never left pedaling alone. 

How can I renew my gift subscription?

We will take care of that! Your gift will automatically renew unless you choose to cancel your subscription. 

What is your cancellation policy?

We hope you never leave us, but you can cancel by emailing us at orders@tandemlane.com

Your loved one will still receive any gift boxes that have already been paid for, but your subscription will not be renewed when it expires.

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if any of your products are defective or have been damaged during shipping, please let us know at info@tandemlane.com
